National Statistical Institute (INE, Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas)
reports:
In
the quarter from May to July 2002, the national open unemployment rate
reached 9.4%. This represents a decline of 0.4 percentage points
when compared to the same period last year and a 0.1 percentage point
reduction over the preceding moving quarter.
