National Statistical Institute (INE, Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas)
reports:
In
the quarter from June to August 2002, the national open unemployment rate
reached 9.6%. This represents a decline of 0.1 percentage points
when compared to the same period last year and a 0.2 percentage point
increase over the preceding moving quarter.
