National Statistical Institute (INE, Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas)
reports:
In
the quarter from November 2002 to January 2003, the national open unemployment rate
reached 7.6%. This represents a decline of 0.4 percentage points
when compared to the same period last year and a 0.2 percentage point
decline over the preceding moving quarter.
