National Statistical Institute (INE, Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas)
reports:
In
the quarter from January to March 2003, the national open unemployment rate
reached 8.2%. This represents a decline of 0.6 percentage points
when compared to the same period last year and a 0.3 percentage point
increase over the preceding moving quarter.
