National Statistical Institute (INEGI, Instituto Nacional de
Estadística Geografía e Informática) reports:
In June, the personnel
employed in the maquiladora export industry dropped by 10.8% compared to
the same month last year and the hours worked in that sector declined by
10.0% over the same period.
