The
National Statistical Institute (INEGI, Instituto Nacional de
Estadística Geografía e Informática) reports:
In July
of the current year, the monthly indicator for economic activity (IGAE,
Indicador Global de la Actividad Económica) registered an increase of
2.7% in real terms compared with the same period last year.
According to seasonally adjusted data, the economy added 0.07% in July
over the preceding month.
On an
annual basis, agriculture expanded 9.5%, industry increased 1.9% and
services grew 2.7%.
