National Statistical Institute (INEGI, Instituto Nacional de
Estadística Geografía e Informática) reports:
In September,
the personnel employed in the maquiladora export industry dropped by
5.2% compared to the same month last year and the hours
worked in that sector declined by
4.4% over the same period.
